The Manchester United midfielder's father has spoken about his son's injury progress.
Manchester United midfielder Daley Blind's return from injury is 'on schedule,' according to his father.
The Dutchman has been out for several weeks due to a knee injury, with United's social alat team infamously tweeting that he will be out for six months by accident, before the mistake was corrected to the relief of millions of supporters.
However, Blind underwent a scan on his injury last Tuesday and the results were 'fine,' meaning he can now begin the rehab process - according to his father.
"On Tuesday he had a scan. Everything looked fine on the scan. Daley can really begin rehabilitation now but is still on schedule," he is quoted as saying by the Daily Mail and Sport Witness.

Manchester United have fared relatively well without the 24-year-old but the versatile midfielder will likely be needed when Louis van Gaal's team come up against sides higher up in the Premier League table.
This Sunday, United host fierce rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford, although they have a tough trip to Southampton to worry about tonight before then.
